The Historic Beaverbrook House is the childhood home of Lord Beaverbrook, formerly known as Max Aitken. It was later used as the first public library for the town of Newcastle. It now houses a plethora of historic artifacts dating from the late 1800's to the Second World War. Only open for tours during the summer months.
