Black River Cottages

We are located just off Lake Ontario inside the mouth of the beautiful Black River in a quiet corner of Prince Edward County. All of our cottages are newly renovated with air-conditioning (and heat in the cold months), a fully equipped kitchen and an extra large deck overlooking the water with seating and a BBQ. For your privacy, we have provided every cottage with their own fire pit. As a guest at Black River Cottages you will have free access to canoes, kayaks, paddle-boards and adult bikes as well as our seasonal swimming pool, playground and zip line for kids. Being on the river offers a unique opportunity to paddle up the Black River to the Cheese factory (approximately 800m) or continue on your journey for almost 7km to reach the village of Milford. Alternatively, you can paddle to the lake where you will enjoy the quiet countryside by water or tie up to our large floating dock and spend some time playing with the kids or enjoying a quiet sunset with our resident swan family. Our cottages are just 10km from Picton where you will find many unique shops and restaurants. And a scenic 20min drive will take you to Sandbanks Provincial Park, one of the largest and most beautiful beaches in Ontario.
