Homestead Pottery, founded by Lisa Barry and Matt Mihlik, is a studio and gallery in Algonquin Highlands, Ontario. Rooted in tradition and dedicated to craftsmanship, the duo's journey began at Sheridan College School of Craft and Design in the late 90s, where they studied ceramics before obtaining their BFA’s from the Alberta College of Art and Design.

Returning to Haliburton, Ontario, they transformed Lisa's grandfather's carpentry shop into a studio and gallery, complete with a wood-fired kiln. As founding members of a local arts collective, they share their passion for utility and nourishment through their work, with Lisa also teaching at Haliburton School of the Arts while Matt explores woodworking, specializing in hand-carved spoons.
