St. John River District Hospital is a 68-plus bed nonprofit acute care facility. Founded in 1965, the hospital offers a range of services, including general medical and surgical care, pulmonary rehabilitation and vascular diagnostics and intervention services. It has pediatrics, obstetrics, gynecology, orthopedics, ophthalmology, oncology, cardiology and radiology departments. The hospital s facility includes intensive and cardiac care units and a urinary incontinence center. It provides diagnostic services through a sleep studies center and vascular lab. The hospital employs approximately 450 employees and serves more than 2,700 patients every year. It is approved by the Joint Commission on Accreditation of Healthcare Organizations and the Michigan Department of Public Health.
