Welcome to Rockwood Resort. We invite you and your family to immerse yourselves in the natural beauty of the Georgian Bay Area. Our resort is situated on a five acre parcel of woodland surrounded by miles of crown land, making Rockwood a perfect place for a Georgian Bay, four-season recharge. We offer 1, 2 and 3 bedroom fully equipped housekeeping cottages, each with full kitchen, 3 or 4 piece bath, deck, propane or charcoal BBQ, and a few with a sunroom or screened in porch. Whether your escape is solo or with the entire family, Rockwood has something for everyone. Find refuge on one of our two sandy beaches (with a children's activity centre on the main beach), enjoy a meal outdoors on our picnic tables, hike through natural woodlands, bike along marked trails, enjoy a nightly bonfire on the beach, grab a fishing rod or laze around in sun or shade with a good book. We also rent boats, motors and canoes on site. Paddleboats, though a tad underpowered for an island excursion, are available for your enjoyment.
