Situated in the heart of Creemore, the Peter Dušek Gallery is Clearview’s premier contemporary art gallery, featuring the serene and minimalist art of award-winning Canadian artist, Peter Dušek. Peter uses photography to explore visual art as a universal language to evoke emotion using colour, abstraction of landscape elements, and a dash of surrealism. With the simplicity and cutting power of a haiku poem, Peter seeks the perfect balance between too much and too little and his signature minimalist design goal is “as little as possible, as much as necessary”. Peter’s artwork, whether an intimate 8 inches or a powerful 10 feet, are held in the collections of corporations, the Government of Ontario Art Collection, as well as gracing the walls of private collectors’ homes throughout North America. His customers include Saks Fifth Avenue, Global Furniture Group, and top designers such as Sarah Richardson and Emily Griffin.
