Located in the Old (Free) Grammar School on Freeschool Lane at Highcross Leicester, this grade II* listed building was completed in 1573 and is one of the oldest schoolhouses in England. Now sympathetically refurbished, the schoolhouse is home to 1573 Bar & Grill since 2009, a fresh concept for dining and drinks in the city. Please remove caps when dining inside the restaurant.
