Chelmsford, England CM31HP
Acreland Green B & B is located between the pretty villages of Pleshey and High Easter in the heart of beautiful Essex Countryside. We have two comfortably furnished en-suite bedrooms, which can be let as either singles, twin or doubles. Both rooms have tea & coffee making facilities and are also equipped with TV and radio alarm clocks. Our sumptuous beds will help you get a great nights sleep and in the morning you can start the day by choosing from our extensive breakfast menu. Whether you fancy a light breakfast or a hearty 'big boys' cooked breakfast we can cater for your taste. In Spring and Summer, feel free to stroll around our extensive gardens or why not relax and take in the fresh country air whilst enjoying tea on the lawn. Maybe you can catch sight of the wild deer that often pass by. For those folk that have been invited to weddings or functions at the nearby Maidens Barn or Reid Rooms, we can often help with transport to the venue. Feel free to come and go as you please and if you need to check in early so you can freshen up and change before going to the event, we can usually accommodate your requirements. When staying with us, if you are visiting friends or family and you want to take something special, then why not make use of Claire's personal floristry services. Just let us know in advance what you are looking for and Claire will get to work on making you a beautiful bouquet or arrangement with the flowers of your choice. For walkers planning to tackle the 'Essex Way' long distance footpath, Acreland Green makes a perfect overnight stopping point. Access to the Essex Way is just 300 metres away and if you need a drop off to the local pub in the evening for that well earned pint and evening meal, we will try and help out. For those walkers staying more than one night, we can also offer a drop off or pick up service to help with your schedule. We'll even dry your soggy clothes if the weather hasn't been too kind! Aside from the Essex Way, there are numerous footpaths and bridleways just waiting to be explored. The byways in the area are great for 'off road' cycling and if you need a little local knowledge to plan your day of activity, then we can help.
