America Hall

America Hall, located in the village of Pinhoe on the northeastern outskirts of Exeter, was officially opened on 31st May 1952. This community centre was built with funds donated by families and friends of American service personnel who were stationed in the area during the Second World War, as a gesture of gratitude for the hospitality shown to their loved ones.

Although the strong links with America have mostly faded over time, many local residents still remember the history surrounding the hall. It is easily accessible from the M5 motorway and by bus from Exeter city centre, making it a convenient venue for various events and gatherings.
