Artsline was a pioneering service dedicated to providing access information for disabled individuals, beginning its operations in 1981. Over nearly forty years, it developed resources including a telephone helpline and an extensive online database of venues and public transport options.

In 2003, Artsline launched its first website, which later won a Gold Medal in the Accessible Tourism category at the VisitLondon 2007 Award. Despite its commendable efforts, the service was discontinued in January 2018, leaving the community to rely on other well-funded competitors for access information.
