Ashbourne Baptist Church

A great place to worship when visiting the Peak District! We welcome everyone to our services every Every Sunday Morning at 10.30am. The church meets in an historic building, now called The Empire Ballroom. Originally designed as "The Empire Picture Hall", it opened on Whit Monday 1912 and was used as a cinema until 1959. The interior architecture still shows the evidence of this use.
