Birkheads Secret Gardens

This is a Royal Horticultural Society Partner Garden ( one of only 200 worldwide) The rural garden contains 12+ average sized themed gardens (within an original 3 acre field) Includes; Wildflower Meadow, Bees & Butterfly garden, Bowes Railway Garden, Woodland Garden, Winter garden, Meditation garden, Orchard, Cottage garden, Beach garden, Gnome Dome/ Fairy garden, Avenue & House garden. There's a popular Coffee Shop with Toasties, Cream Scones, Bacon Baps etc & Pumphreys coffee. A selection of sweet treats are always available, ask for gluten free etc alternatives. Plenty of indoor & outdoor seating is available. Plant sales area ( all grown without protection here in our Hardy Plant Nursery) Hours April-Sept.
