Located on Platform 1 at Carnforth Station where the 1945 David Lean film Brief Encounter was partly filmed. The Refreshment Room has been refurbished and is adjacent to Carnforth Station Heritage Centre which is a museum that attracts film and train buffs. Visitors flock to the Refreshment Room which has been tastefully decorated to the 1940s period setting.
