FAST Centrifuge, located in Farnborough, England, has been at the forefront of aviation medicine since its opening in 1955, making it the first machine in Britain capable of testing human subjects under high G conditions without the risks of actual flight. Designed and manufactured by British engineers, it is believed to be the oldest human centrifuge in the world, offering over 60 years of research and training through the RAF Institute of Aviation Medicine.
Managed by the Farnborough Air Sciences Trust (FAST), the Centrifuge serves to preserve the rich heritage of the Royal Aircraft Establishment.
