High Force Hotel Restaurant

We serve delicious, home-cooked food all day, from breakfast, snacks and lunches right through to evening meals in the relaxed setting of The High Force Hotel. With an exciting menu offering classic British food alongside some international favourites, we try our best to showcase the many wonderful producers and growers in Upper Teesdale. Even our coffee is roasted locally! We are dog friendly so, whether you’re visiting for a stroll to the Waterfall, Sunday lunch or an overnight stay, your four-legged friend is welcome too. SUNDAY LUNCHES High Force is making its mark for its outstanding Sunday lunch menu. Come and enjoy a traditional roast dinner with the finest cuts of local meat, home-made Yorkshire Puddings, crisp roast potatoes and freshly cooked seasonal vegetables with a generous serving of gravy. Sunday Lunch is served between 12 noon and 6.00pm (subject to availability). Bookings are taken between 12 noon and 3.00pm and it is always recommended for larger groups.
