Our secluded guest house is located in a quiet corner of Kennington, Oxfordshire, just a short walk from the River Thames. We offer comfortable and individually decorated rooms, perfect for a relaxing break or a base for exploring the surrounding area. Rooms Our rooms have been recently refurbished and maintained to a high standard. They feature comfortable beds, ample storage space, tea/coffee making facilities, and free Wi-Fi. Some rooms also offer stunning views of the garden. Facilities Our guest house has a large communal kitchen, where you can prepare your own meals or relax with a cup of tea. There is also a TV / reading room, and a garden patio with outdoor seating. We offer free parking and bike storage. Guests share a bathroom which is cleaned at minimum once daily. Access to the house is via a keypad for the gate and front door, so you can come and go as you please. We have shoes-off policy inside the house, please. This helps keep the whole place clean for everyone - do bring some slippers or house shoes. Location In between Oxford and Abingdon, with easy transport options - near the A34 for cars; 20mins by bus to Oxford; or even a 5km cycle or walk along the River Thames path, besides the flood meadow, all the way to the town centre. Nearby is a pub overlooking Sandford Lock on the River Thames for an evening meal. Other nearby food options include fish and chips and the community / sports pub, plus a small supermarket in Kennington village centre (15 mins walk).
