Manchester Barton Aerodrome

Barton Aerodrome is a General and Business Aviation Airfield in Greater Manchester. Opened in 1930, this unique location features grass runways and a historic Control Tower building. Open to the general public, with free parking, viewing/picnic area and a viewing balcony, it is an idea day out for all ages. See the aerodrome in action with a variety of aircraft, helicopters, microlights. Also home to Police Helicopter Services and the North West Air Ambulance Charity.
