Marshal Wade's House

A sophisticated building of about 1720 in the very centre of Bath. Situated opposite the Abbey, from the windows, on a level with the angels, you can see the great carving of Jacob's ladder; a close-up view that few people ever see. Marshall Wade's House can be booked for short breaks with the Landmark Trust, a charity that restores historic buildings at risk and makes them available for holidays.
