Black Men Teach is a dedicated network aimed at promoting and amplifying the voices of Black men in education, addressing the significant underrepresentation of Black male educators within the UK teaching workforce. The initiative was inspired by a viral campaign in June 2020, highlighting the challenges faced in attracting Black men to the teaching profession and the impact on diversity in role models for young Black males.

Through a variety of programmes, workshops, and events, Black Men Teach seeks to create safe spaces for Black male educators and foster community support. Their mission is to cultivate an environment where these educators can learn, grow, and aspire to new heights in their professional journeys.
