Munich Cricket Club brings a new concept to the dockside of West India Quay, a German Bierkeller with a large terraced garden, long list of imported Munich beers, weekly live Oompah band and menus full of traditional Bavarian favourites. On the menu are hearty German classics from the famous footlong bratwurst and currywurst, to five types of schnitzel. Slow roasted pork knuckle with sauerkraut and dumplings is a best seller, fresh from the open kitchen’s rotisserie. The venue lends itself well to groups, with several areas available for private hire. Party kegs of imported Munich beers such as Paulaner are perfect for these occasions, easily poured by guests into steins from mini barrels on the table. Sharing boards of wursts, schnitzel and cured meats with pretzels are the perfect accompaniment.
