The museum is dedicated to the lifeboat service in Poole. It is located in the historical old lifeboat station that was built in 1882 and the main exhibit is the Dunkirk ‘little ship’ RNLB Thomas Kirk Wright. The museum is staffed by volunteers and is open daily subject to their availability
