The Open Centre
The Open Centre, founded in 1977, was one of the UK's longest-established growth centres for self-development, located at 188 Old Street, London EC1. For 46 years, it provided a space for various workshops and group sessions, including Primal Integration, Bioenergetics, and Gestalt, encouraging expressive and cathartic work rather than solely verbal communication.
Though the Open Centre has now closed, it has left a significant legacy within the growth movement and the programmes for Primal Integration will continue in other locations. The founders, Juliana Brown and Richard Mowbray, express their gratitude towards the many clients and practitioners who contributed to the Centre's remarkable journey. Generated from the website
