Screech Owl Sanctuary & Animal Park

Neighbouring the Goss Moor Nature Reserve, this award-winning Sanctuary cares for 70 owls from all over the world plus 18 other species of animals (including storks, wallabies, raccoons, lemurs, emus, and a fox). Visit the Sanctuary and learn about these amazing animals at the regular educational feed and talk sessions. Discover a fascinating insight into the lives of majestic birds of prey at the regular flying displays. Take time to learn about the nature around site and efforts to support British Wildlife. Partake in a home-cooked meal from the tearoom or relax with a family picnic. Children can enjoy the outdoor playground. A wonderful family day out for all animal lovers. Your visit helps support the Sanctuary’s education, conservation, and rehabilitation work. Private encounters can be booked with many of the Sanctuary residents providing amazing up close and personal experiences. Note that only pre-booked assistance dogs are allowed on site.
