Here at Show Of Strength we love local history — people and places from Bristol’s past have been at the heart of our work for years. In 2016 we created our first THEATRE WALK and now have six, with a new one coming this autumn – and we think you’d enjoy our work. Our first Bristol walk was BLOOD AND BUTCHERY IN BEDMINSTER – where we’ve been based since 1986. It was so popular we followed it with the true story of Edward Teach – aka Blackbeard – in Bristol docks. Our Clifton tour Crime and Crinolines in Clifton launched in 2020, and in March we premiered SAINTS AND SINNERS IN ST GEORGE returning in October. Since 2017 our Bath tour has been revealing the story of how most of FRANKENSTEIN was written there in 1816/17. Awards include Best Live Performance Creative Bath Awards (2017), Best of Bristol 2018 Theatre (Bristol24/7)
