The Cat Gallery is the UK's premier cat themed shop, offering a wide variety of gifts for cat lovers and their feline friends. We have a website and ship cat themed gifts all over the world. The Cat Gallery is also the home of the York Cat Hunt. Can you find over 20 life-size cat statues that have accumulated on buildings in York City Centre over the last 100 years? It's fun, it's free and is a great way to discover our historic city. Pick up a leaflet 24/7 from a dispenser outside our shop at 45 Low Petergate. In August 2023 we welcomed The Lucky Cat Shop to our first floor. Here you will find all manner of cats associated with good fortune: the Maneki Neko (beckoning cat) from the Far East, gemstone cats that match to your birthstone and York's latest gift and souvenir sensation, The Original Lucky Cat.
