The Watford African Caribbean Association (WACA) is a registered charitable organization established in 1976, making it one of the longest-running African Caribbean associations in the UK. WACA is dedicated to protecting, promoting, and supporting the interests of the African and Caribbean community in and around Watford through a variety of user-led services that cater to all generations.

Under the guidance of co-founder Althea McLean OBE and a committed board of trustees, WACA endeavors to address community challenges and foster unity. The organization is also engaged in educating the public about Black history and its significance, aiming to enrich the cultural tapestry of the region.
