The Dog

A family run pub, set close to Ludham Bridge and the river Ant, surrounded by stunning rural views over the countryside. With an adjoining field for 'Back to basics' type camping we welcome tents, caravans and motor homes. The camping site offers use of the pub toilets and water only, no showers or electric hook-up, but you get the vista with lots of wildlife, cows and windmills across the open marshes in exchange. The pub offers a warm welcome from landlords Lorraine and Geoff and our brilliant staff. We serve local Real Ales, and home-cooked food, using locally sourced ingredients wherever possible. There is a large beer garden with ample seating, including some disabled accessible benches. Alongside our outdoor seating there is a climbing frame to keep the little ones entertained whilst adults can relax and take in the glorious views. With a welcoming atmosphere inside you will at home immediately. Children and well behaved dogs on leads are always welcome, inside and outside.
