The Dyke's End is a Free House situated in the idyllic village of Reach which sits at one end of the Devil's Dyke, a 7.5 mile Anglo-Saxon bank and ditch earthworks that is popular with walkers. When you visit expect a well-stocked bar with cask ales (BRAND NEW Timothy Taylor's Hopical Storm is a permanent fixture with three ever revolving ales) lagers, fine wines, British gin and soft drinks to suit every taste. Outside we have two beer gardens, the front garden overlooks the village green where the annual Reach Fair takes place on the early May Bank Holiday Monday. The rear garden is set among the fruit trees with plenty of space. The interior which has recently been refurbished, comprises of a cosy bar area, a larger attractive dining area complete with an open fire and an upstairs dining room which can be reserved for special occasions. Serving freshly prepared home-cooked meals, specialising in proper pies in the colder months.
