The Elephant & Castle

The Elephant & Castle was acquired by the Sharples family in September 2018 and is run by Sam and supported by his co-manager Jack, mother Kaye and sister Abi. Open 7 days a week and guided by a great team in both the kitchen and bar, our aim is to deliver fresh, wholesome and good quality locally sourced food with a great selection of daily specials on offer. This is complemented with a wide selection of real ales, premium lagers, wines, gins and cocktails.The choice of traditional Sunday roasts have become extremely popular and they also provide a vegetarian alternative as well as smaller dishes for children. Work will commence this year on an Orangery extension which will improve the dining facilities as well as provide more space for private events such as birthday parties, christenings and funeral gatherings.
