The Ferry Boat Inn

The Ferry Boat Inn (known as the FBI to the locals) is a dog friendly historic pub next to the beach in the beautiful fishing village of Shaldon, Devon, on the mouth of the River Teign. The pub in Shaldon Devon is run by local couple Matt and Michelle who took over in November 2018. Before running the Ferry Boat, Matt was the manager at a golf club and Michelle has had lots of experience managing bars and restaurants. Between them they have plenty of experience in the hospitality trade. Matt and Michelle both know the quirks of the pub as well as the quirks of the local community extremely well (because they are part of it!)! The pub is currently not serving food but the garden grill will be back in spring 2022. How would we best describe The Ferry Boat Inn? Fun, great music from top Devon bands (Thursday/Friday evenings and Sunday afternoons, very friendly and excellent beers with top hosts. Families and well-behaved dogs are welcome.
