The King's Head is one of the most ancient pubs in the county of Essex, with parts of the structure dating back nearly 450 years. The main building is a beautiful half wood construction which dates back to the 17th century, and was originally built using old ships' timbers. A country pub oozing rural charm and rustic character, our picturesque surroundings provide the perfect backdrop for savouring the hearty, seasonal pub-food on our menu, and the carefully nurtured cask ales and fine wines gracing our bar.
