Wessex RFCA is dedicated to promoting the interests of the Reserve Forces and Cadets across the South West of England while fostering relationships with local communities and employers. Established under the Haldane Reforms and the Reserve Forces Act, the organisation provides advice and assistance to the Defence Council and all three military services. As one of the oldest and most successful voluntary youth organisations, the UK cadet movement is supported by Wessex RFCA, which also highlights the contributions of volunteer reservists who serve alongside regular forces.
