The Magpie Inn

Sitting just outside of Stowmarket, The Magpie Inn is a wonderful village pub and restaurant. It’s hard to miss this imposing, 17th century, Grade II listed, pink cottage with its abundance of flower-filled hanging baskets, and once tried, it’s hard not to return. It offers a wide array of cask real ale, lagers, cider, and other drinks. It also incorporates "The Gin Palace" with over 250 gins. The menus offer a wide range of traditional pub fare, grills, generous sharing platters, homemade burgers and "Mag-Pies", ploughman’s and salads, and Asian specialties which include Kung Po, Spicy Szechuan and Thai.
