The house and its estate was originally the home of the wealthy local Hornby family. It was sold to Mr Nathaniel Montefiore in 1870 and then bought by Hampshire County Council in 1924. It is now owned by a private company. It has been carefully and sensitively restored to its former glory by the new owners, and is waiting to welcome you and your guests to come and enjoy the grandeur and splendour of this magnificent Victorian country house. There are 28 beautiful and spacious serviced apartments to choose from: studio, super studio, one bedroom and one bedroom deluxe ranging in size from 24m2 to 96m2.
