The Old Sun Inn

The Old Sun Inn is a 17th-century converted coaching inn with stone floors and oak panelling. There are two log fires and great outdoor drinking areas front and back. We took over the building just over seven years ago following a period of closure and restored it to something of its former glory. Located on the High St of the beautiful spa town of Buxton, just off the highest market square in England, the Old Sun is set back from the main road and is a traditional coaching inn retaining many original features. We have five real ales on tap, together with a great wine list and huge range of spirits. Coffee is of the highest quality, made on a proper Italian machine. We serve locally sourced, homemade food (complete with extensive vegetarian, vegan and GF options) and we pride ourselves on our friendly service and a warm welcome.
