Stepping into The Parlour, you’d be forgiven for thinking you’ve been transported back in time. Set on the ground floor of a 24 bedroom Georgian Townhouse the parlour is awash with curious collections and antique furniture. Candlelit and cosy, guests quickly feel they have stumbled upon a clandestine meeting (and drinking) place. A quintessentially English menu of hearty small eats and sharing boards has been created as the perfect accompaniment to the heady cocktail list. Yet it’s not all uproarious after-dark revelry in The Parlour, the lounge is the perfect setting for a little afternoon indulgence. So much so that Vogue named it as one of London’s top 10 Afternoon Tea destinations. Guests are invited to try Aunt Wilhelmina’s dainty Afternoon Tea or opt for Uncle Seymour’s heartier ‘Gentleman’s Tea’.
