The Plough

The Plough is a local village pub set in the heart of Bignall End. It is ran by Pete and Carla and is part of Hydes Brewery. We can proudly say we are the winners of Hydes Tenanted pub of the year 2016! Our bar serves a wide range of Real Ales coming from Hydes Brewery, Beer Studio and rotating guests. We also have a large range of largers, ciders, wines, vodka, gins and whiskeys. Our kitchen is open daily from 12:30 until 8:30 (apart from Sunday's where is is 12:30-6). We have an extensive menu serving grill items, burgers, Vegetarian, Vegan and Gluten free food; however we have become known for our homemade pies! All our food is freshly prepared in house and we source all our food locally. The Plough holds weekly events including our Interactive Quiz on a Thursday and live entertainment on a Saturday.
