The Seven Stars

The Seven Stars is a pretty country pub, about a mile north of Ripley village. We are situated in attractive countryside and offer a pleasant diversion during a walk along the Wey Navigation. The ruins of Newark Priory, dating from the 12th Century, lie just down the road. The new owners, who also run The Running Mare in Cobham operate as a family business incorporating a kitchen that produces excellent food and front of house staff that provide a warm welcome to all our guests. The Seven Stars provides a friendly environment and an inviting customer experience whilst still retaining the inherent character of the Great British Inn. The Seven Stars has various snug areas, enjoyable food, real ales, good wines and coffee. Inside there are gleaming brasses and quiet background music. Outside areas offer picnic-sets and heated wooden booths in well tended gardens. Close by are river and canalside walks, to which the Seven Stars offers a pleasant stopping point for food and refreshment.
