The Silver Otter

Able2achieve Trust opened the doors to 'The Silver Otter' in Ottery St Mary in January 2018 providing work-based learning for adults with disabilities in the catering and hospitality industry. The Silver Otter also provide the community with space to develop projects such as the Sewing Bee and Home Hub. Located in a grade two listed building which was once the NatWest bank, The Silver Otter offers conference room facilities and an accessible toilet for people with wheelchairs. All food is homemade and freshly prepared and we take great pride in the quality of our dishes. Our cakes and pastries are made in our bakery ‘Bakeable’ where two people with disabilities have the experience of working in a proper catering kitchen and provide businesses with baked goods.
