Goddards Green, in the heart of West Sussex, just off the A23 (Hickstead) close to Hurstpierpoint and Burgess Hill, boasts the Sportsman public house, home of great cuisine and Casque Mark Ales. Formerly, two pubs, the Magpie and the Sportsman, the buildings were knocked through into one. This establishment dates from about 1800.
