The Stags Head - Dunster

Welcome to The Stags Head Dunster. We are lucky to be in the Medieval Village of Dunster famous for our Castle and The Yarn Market. The Stags was closed by its previous owners in December 2023. My husband and I, alongside our team, moved into this beautiful building in July 2023 and spent time lovingly restoring the pub which re-opened on the 4th of August. We are a popular tourist attraction for walkers and families, with Exmoor National Park on our doorstep, a mile away is the well-known Dunster Beach Huts nestled alongside the beach, and Minehead & the West Somerset Steam railway are only 2 miles away. We are a free house and offer a good selection of real ales & locally sourced ciders, and our very own Stags Head Gin. We are dog friendly and welcome muddy paws with well-behaved owners with treats on arrival and fresh water. The Stags is where you arrive as strangers but leave as friends.
