The Star Inn & Hotel

The Star Inn & Hotel is an original building that dates back to the seventeenth century although the main frontage & larger parts of the property were built in around eighteen hundreds. UPTON UPON SEVERN: Used to be a port, as well as being the only river crossing for many miles. For centuries before modern transport, it was alive with river craft carrying goods to & from the rich east bank. Uptons history can be seen in its delightful old buildings, including pleasant places to own with liveliness out of all shops. Upton, with its delightful Inns, Hotels and pubs host a variety of large music events each year such as the Jazz, Folk, Blues and Sunshine festivals that draws crowds in their thousands. We are a Hotel and Inn with seventeen refurbished beamed en-suites, a coffee lounge with a lovely fire place and bar area with a open fire place. The Star Inn & Hotel also has a large decked, river view, outside area, complete with its own staged area & outside bar. We also have, available to hire, a beautifully beamed function room.
