The Three Horseshoes

We are a family run country pub and restaurant. Born out of a passion for great food and hospitality we are committed to bringing you the very best in local produce, friendly service, fantastic wines, and a great selection of local beers. We offer reservable tables for dining only, a pub area that welcomes dogs & muddy boots, and a large secluded garden and terrace for those sunny days and evenings. Located on the outskirts of Colchester, Essex we are open five days a week. In 2024 we were awarded 3 rosettes from the AA Restaurant Guide, a Michelin Bib Gourmand and named Pub of the Year in the East of England Tourism Awards. We are dog friendly and large groups are welcome with private and semi-private dining available. The Coffee Shed is open Wednesday to Sunday till 2pm to eat-in or takeaway. Freshly made cakes, croissants, sausage rolls, paninis, and breakfast cro-buns are served as well freshly baked artisan sourdough to takeaway on Saturdays.
