The Windsor Trooper

The Windsor Trooper is a very popular Pub & Inn. The Pub is extremely popular with the local residents of Windsor and our accommodation is proving to be very popular with tourists. Located within a short distance of numerous attractions including, Windsor Castle, The Long Walk/Great Park, Windsor Racecourse, Ascot Racecourse, Windsor’s Theatre Royal, Eton, Legoland and Riverboat Cruises on the Beautiful River Thames. The Windsor Trooper is Located on St Leonards Road, a Wonderful Street that leads up to the Castle filled with independent Restaurants, Bars, Cafes and Shops. The management of The Windsor Trooper took over in September 2019 and have since overhauled the entire property, it now is a fantastic and welcoming place where Locals and Tourists can relax and sample some of the UK's Best Ales and Ciders. In 2022 The Windsor Trooper won CAMRA’s Slough Windsor and Maidenhead Cider Pub of The Year. The function room has been completely renovated and is a perfect spot to host a meeting, party etc. The Windsor Trooper also now boasts a wonderful big Pub Garden. There are 9 en-suite rooms on Site, Check In Starts at 3:00pm until the pub closes each day and Check Out is 11:00am. All rooms have Flat Screen TV's, a Kettle with complimentary Tea and Coffee, Toiletries, Extra Pillows and Fans can also be found in the Wardrobes. Free Wifi can be found in throughout the property. We do not have any on site parking for guests, There are numerous reasonably priced Car Parks nearby. Please note The Trooper does not serve Breakfast, we have many restaurants and cafes within a short walk of the Pub that open early to serve breakfast.
