The Woodthorpe Top

This JD Wetherspoon pub is located at the junction of Woodthorpe Drive and Woodborough Road, in Mapperley's town centre, at the top of a long, steep climb out of the city. Woodthorpe Drive descends from the west side of Mapperley, past Woodthorpe Grange, a grade II listed house built in 1874. Acquired by Nottingham City Council in 1921, the estate was converted into Woodthorpe Park - 'rich in mature trees, ornamental gardens and enjoyable walks'. The Woothorpe Top is a relatively new addition to the Nottingham Wetherspoons family. Situated in the heart of Mapperley, this modern pub serves food from 8am right up until the end of the night at 11pm.
