At The Woolpack Inn we aim to capture the essence of a country inn offering a range of individually designed rooms in historical Chilham. Fully carpeted rooms with thick 15th century walls, quiet village location with a village post office, one other pub and a train station within walking distance. Also to mention is the picturesque village square, Church of St Mary' and surrounding area that has been used many times to film various TV shows including Agatha Christie's Poirot, Miss Marple and a BBC's adaptation of Jane Austins novel Emma. We provide freshly prepared locally produced food in all our dishes and our prepared by our team of chefs. Eat a delicious full English breakfast with sausages from the local butcher! (vegetarian option available). Start with cereals or our large glass of house muesli with berries, honey and Greek yogurt (inspired by a divine breakfast we as a family once had by the Orange River in Africa!) Then later when you have visited the many local attractions come back and dine on a light but always tasty lunch, afternoon tea or scrumptious evening meal. Eat in our busy restaurant or alfresco on the sun terrace. alternatively choose one of our comfy chesterfields in the attractive bar area. Grab a warming hot chocolate and curl up in front of one of our blazing fires in winter, there is a space and time here for you to enjoy.
