We have a brigade of 5 in the kitchen serving AA rosette accredited food (since 1997) with friendly and well trained front of house staff. And happily we are actually in Pickering. Depending on season you can settle by the fire, eat outside on our sun-terrace or dine in our restaurant. Our Bothy is the perfect space for private dining too. We really do use local ingredients, we do all grilling over proper charcoal and we make everything in our kitchen - including the mayonnaise, marmalade, ice-cream, bread etc. Herbs from the garden and a proper but low margin wine-list. Sometimes we are extremely busy so always best to book. IF you are looking for a traditional restaurant rather than a cafe, a take-away, a chain coffee shop, bar or bakery then we guarantee - no wrapped butter portions or sachets of sauce here.
