A PEACEFUL haven in the middle of Chorlton serving locally roasted coffee from Mancoco, amazing vegetarian food and a welcome second to none from our friendly team. Our cafe is situated in the grounds of the Kadampa Buddhist Centre in the heart of Chorlton providing a unique atmosphere of peace and serenity away from the hustle and bustle of ordinary life. Take some time out and visit our World Peace Cafe serving locally roasted coffee from city centre roasters Mancoco and a selection of vegetarian and vegan cakes, snacks and meals, We also have different types of herbal, special teas and cold drinks. Come along and enjoy our peaceful environment either alone or with friends, to work or relax - there is always a warm, friendly welcome awaiting you. Other ways to relax during your visit? Sit in our meditation room and soak up the peace and tranquiilty..... borrow a book on Buddhism from our library to read in the cafe to bring a quiet moment or two .....sit by the window in the cafe and watch the world go by. or browse in the shop for books on Buddhism, meditation CDs and other gift items.... the choice is all yours! On Thursdays and Fridays we offer daytime drop in meditation classes - Thursday 12.30-1pm £3 and Friday 11am - 12 - £3.
