Ye Olde King's Head built during the reign of King Henry VIII in 1525 it is reputedly the oldest Inn in Windsor, and where Shakespeare stayed whilst writing 'The Merry Wives of Windsor'. Come and see the restored replica execution warrant for Kings Charles I. Those days have long gone however Ye Olde Kings Head remains ready to serve patrons traditional ale, fine wines and classic british food.
