Priory Ardsley House

At Gateholme we provide support for people with learning disabilities, physical disabilities and other complex needs. We have a successful record of supporting people to move into more independent environments. At Gateholme, we have a number of different houses at the service and each one is personalised by individuals living there. Everyone chooses the colour schemes and furniture for their own rooms and all communal areas. Each house has its own dedicated staff team who provide support tailored to each individual's needs. Everyone we support has their own unique Person Centred Plan which they help design. Each plan is designed to support an individual's personal choices and aspirations and focuses on what is needed to make that happen.

Woodhouse Cottage provides support for six adult males with learning disabilities and autism. Our aim is to assist and enable individuals to reach their goals and aspirations whilst maximising people living as independently as possible. At Woodhouse Cottage, our philosophy is to promote independence, choice, dignity, empowerment, respect and opportunities and to support everyone to fulfil their potential. We have a friendly and highly committed staff team, who provide support that is tailored to the needs of each person. We can offer short or long term stays, and can work to the basis of 1:1 support if required.

Woodhouse Hall is a 19th Century stone building located in the village of East Ardsley, West Yorkshire. Set in beautiful surroundings, the service is a 19 bed en-suite property, 9 of which are individual self-contained flats. The main building provides support for individuals with autism, learning disabilities and behaviours that may challenge, with the flats developed for individuals requiring specialist support for mental health requirements, including personality disorder. The service has undergone major refurbishment programme to transform it into a modern home, whilst allowing the building’s original character to remain.
